My name is Alberto Ponce, I am a passionate photographer who appreciates art as a form of honest expression that communicates emotions. For more than 15 years I have developed a style that plays with colors and contrasts seeking to transform my photos to transmit those emotions.
MY BEGINNINGS: It all started with a backpack on my shoulder, several maps of European cities and a cheap digital camera, which at that time I did not care, I was decided to capture moments with whatever tool I had in my hands
Upon my return home, my mother discovered that my passion for photography had begun. At that time, my mother was a fashion designer and catalog coordinator for a very important lingerie brand in Mexico. In order to later do her work, she invited me to my first photo sessions just to observe and learn and then let me do her job as catalog production coordinator.
TODAY I own my Wedding Photography Studio which had lead me to work on already 170 weddings, and I run Portrafino Studios mainly specialized in people to take Indoor and Outdoor photos.
THINGS THAT I LOVE: Collecting CD's & Vinyl Records, Traveling, Camping trips with my family, Ride my Motorcycle, My Film Camera Collection, Film Photography, Playing percussions.
